Raphy and Ryan have stuck together through all sorts of trials and tribulations and accept each other deeply. It’s always so lovely to capture that connection between two people with natural couple photography. These two lovers have faced their own gender identity crises, and photographing a couple who both see each other beyond their genders reminds me that society is going in the right direction.
We headed to the National Centre for Early Music in York, which host several weddings each year, and recreated a wedding-esque style couples shoot. There’s nothing more empowering than a lady in a suit!! They absolutely smashed it and modelled like professionals.
